Achievements

Our recently completed projects

  1. Three new metro stations opened their doors in 2007 in Laval. Public transit users have since been able to travel from the South Shore to the North Shore by metro!
  2. The Eastern Junction is the crossing of the railway tracks on the Deux-Montagnes and those of the Saint-Laurent subdivision. This redevelopment project will improve the flow of railway traffic.
  3. Multi-level cars are now part of the metropolitan rail landscape. 24 new cars were added to the existing fleet in 2013!
  4. The dual-mode locomotive was specially designed to operate on the AMT's entire rail network. Check it out!
  5. The 700 series cars were returned to service after being overhauled. Check out their new look and technical improvements!
  6. Three train lines run along this section of track. Improvements must be made to ensure the flexibility of railway operations and thus offer customers punctual service.
  7. We did it! Every station on the Mont-Saint-Hilaire line is now a permanent facility and ridership is on the rise!
  8. The AMT has increased the number of spaces in its park-and-ride facilities, particularly in the framework of road congestion mitigation measures.
  9. The AMT recently acquired the Deux-Montagnes line right-of-way in 2014. This major investment will enable substantial annual savings!
  10. The Electric Circuit and Clic projects offer audacious new public transport options.
  11. The Bikezone is an innovative solution that promotes the complementarity between bikes and public transit. The first of its kind on our network is installed in the park-and-ride lot of the Deux-Montagnes station.
