Orange line: Côte-Vertu - Montmorency

Heavily used, the orange line plays a key role in the Montréal metro network. It is 30 kilometres long and its 31 stations serve Old Montréal, the financial district, the Plateau-Mont-Royal, as well as Rosemont, Montréal-Nord, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Saint-Laurent and Laval. It crosses the green line and the blue line at 4 stations, thus multiplying transfer possibilities.

History

Part of the initial 1966 network, the orange line was extended in 1980, 1986 and 2007. It is the second to reach beyond Montréal Island, serving Laval with 3 stations.
